Odense Fagskole
(College of Animation, Design, Fashion and Initiation)
Odense Fagskole (College of Animation, Design,Fashion and Initiation) is Denmark's oldest handcrafts school. It was founded in 1910 by Nathalie Hansen.
Originally, the school was conceived as a place where seamstresses could be trained in tailoring and the teaching profession.
Over the years, the school has developed into the place where the very latest fashion trends in animation, clothing, design and textiles are worked with.
Instruction is geared to the latest trends, with IT as an active tool in construction, presentation, design and concept development. The key-words are: body - form - colour - style. In 1998, the school moved from Langelinie street to new premises in the former Odense Glassworks.
